About this stay

Ekaant means solitude, and it is an honest name. The farm sits in the foothills of Kumaon, away from the main roads, with fields, fruit trees and a kitchen garden that decides what is for dinner.

Guests are welcome to join in as much or as little as they like — harvesting, milking, making bread or ghee, or cooking a Kumaoni meal with the family. The rest of the time is for walks, a book and long evenings outdoors. It is a wonderful stay for families with children, and for anyone who wants to reconnect with where food actually comes from.
