About this experience
The Bankatiya trek takes you from the last villages beyond Munsiyari up into the high country of the Kumaon Himalaya — through rhododendron and birch forest, across open meadows and finally onto the moraine below the snow peaks.
Unlike our shorter base camp experience, this is a full expedition: more days on the trail, proper acclimatisation, and time at the top to explore towards the glaciers with your guide. Camps, cooks, porters and permits are all taken care of; you bring the legs and the curiosity.
